Greening. What is green? What does the color mean to us?

Well, first, the world, often erroneously referred to as blue, due to the reflection of the sky in the water, is actually a green planet – the ocean is green. And also, the land is, ideally, green. Trees, plants, hillsides, meadows, forests, jungles, all are green.

Green is the color of renewal, of Spring, of LIFE.

That’s why it’s spoken of as the color of eco, of saving our environment, even of money, which is a cosmic and free-flowing element, like the sea. The color of life and love is green. We even speak of someone who is innocent as green.

In the season of renewal, it’s great to think about Spring cleaning of our bodies, first, and then of our homes. In many parts of the world, internal cleansing at least on an annual basis is common. Many eat great vegan food – especially the college kids and celebrities, who look so great – so their systems are clear, and if you do, then yours is, but – if you eat processed foods that clog your system, or foods that place burdens upon your body, like dairy, eggs, meat, poultry, or fish, think about going to a health food store and getting a cleanse product. It will help you feel reborn !

Green your breath! Breathe deeply, at least taking five full draughts of fresh air outside in the morning and at night, before bedtime. This will do much for your mood, for your digestion, and for your attitude.

Of course, to stay energetic, youthful, energetic and healthy, eat vegan foods always.

And for your homes – please, for all of our sakes – use only eco, green products in everything you buy. This is also the compassionate choice to make, since so many innocent lives depend upon your greening, including your own. The toxic load from detergents and other ordinary cleaning and household products is extreme. Try this – walk along the detergent and bleach aisle next time you go to a regular supermarket. Think about it. Don’t you smell and just feel the poisons?

Even in the packaging and bottles, this stuff is lethal. Don’t let it near your home and family.

Your yard? Do you know that there are now so many wonderful eco ways to garden and to keep your lawn green,(including the great-figure-creating time-honored practice of weeding – if you do your own gardening, you’ll always be fit and slender!)- that saving our own lungs, our environment, our wildlife, and our water and air is much easier all the time.

I know most green-minded humans go to their health food stores for all their purchases.

That’s great! Also, many other stores and markets have started selling green, organic, products and produce that it’s easier and easier to go green !

Exercise is essential to making our lives happy and healthy, but you do remember how to have fun, don’t you ? Like you did once as a child ?

Too much seriousness is deleterious to your health, and definitely not a green thing.

Along with greening your life by buying green, eco, compassionate products, with going green with your food, with using new, green ways to save energy, and to green your car is the idea of keeping your mind green, limber, and lively by learning something every day !

They’ve found out that in order to bring out the best you have, in order to contribute to the world, to develop your talents and to stay happy, we need to read and explore,to quest to remain curious as you were once, when the world was new to you !

Meanwhile, will you go out and have some fun? Every day, like us, you should schedule some play time, preferably with a pet. I have noticed that far too many, even those who walk daily, don’t really stretch or allow themselves to be joyous, or to run and play!

I wish I could encourage everyone – especially the grown ups, who are all too often so sullen, to run, skip, and play!

Make hay while the sun shines, an old adage, refers to, of course, green, new hay!

If you’re in love, you’ll feel more like rolling in the proverbial hay, too, when you green your life !

And by all means, try some wheatgrass next time you’re in a market that serves it, or barley grass. At least get a green supplement.

Keep on the grass – wiggle your toes in the clover. Live a little!

Why not?
